design is objective and comes from a solid understanding of the human psychological principles that explain how we perceive the world. mastery of this combined with a strong technical and fine arts background and infused with an innate skill in communication make for a solid understanding of user experience and interaction design.
my experience has primarily been taking leadership roles and creatively solving problems in design genres. i have a strong affinity towards spatial design (architecture, layout, interfaces, cinematography) though i love all forms of visual communication. i've been evangelizing for good design for several years and have worked with numerous clients and developers on design strategies for their websites, Mac and iPhone applications. an exceedingly quick learner & thinker, i'm able to grasp concepts and ideas to see the big picture faster than most. my knowledge of both technology and design allow for a unique balance of skills & understanding. but most importantly, my strong organizational skills let me efficiently pursue many activities at once and my ability to communicate ideas (both verbal and written) allow me to coordinate between several projects and many different groups of people.
i hold a Bachelors of Engineering Science degree in Digital Media Design from the University of Pennsylvania focused on interaction design with minors and extensive coursework in Psychology, Fine Arts & Architecture.
